Afternoon all,

     There is a small off road track that has been intriguing me for ages now. All the sign says is 'nature reserve' with a picture of a badger. So I took a chance and had a drive/walk down there today. Didn't see one badger.

Result......

Now time to get back to some wedding shoot editing!

   It has been a long, but very exciting day. Just got in from a beautiful wedding shoot! So took the chance to grab my photo for today, while taking a short break (and the use of my glamorous assistant, my fiancee!)

     Little late at work tonight, but in ways, it helped the photo for today as I left in darkness. I always pass a church on the way home, that is lit up at night so I finally took the chance to stop and take a few snaps. Not quite the results I was looking for, but still some good shots!

365 Challenge - Day 262

Evening all!

    I really want to get some night shots, and as the sky is clear tonight, i thought I would run out and do some test shots (to see level of light pollution, I am surrounded by towns and villages)

Result......

It is pretty bad. The shutter was open for 30 seconds, and the light area, at the bottom (which is orange street lamps) started to wash out, yet the top of the frame was pretty much black. Tried to get some detail back, but the quality is pretty shocking. So I guess I need to go further a field, or try to use the light pollution to my advantage. I also need to remember that the nights are chilly now, and going out in flip flops to spend any more than 5minutes outside, is a daft idea.

    It has been a very busy weekend....but I have just been sat in front of the computer all weekend! Yup, I have been editing the latest wedding shoot I had!

   Took a break (for the sake of my eyes!) and was lucky enough to get an incredible sunset.

     Got a lot of editing to do today, so it's an early post, and a quick one - but I am very happy with them!

Camera -  ISO 200, f/2.8, shutter 1/1600. Post - crop, straighten, and balanced the exposure a bit to bring out the leaves.

     Leaving work tonight, I saw our plaque wall had been updated. As a company we provide the team with personalised plaques for every game that they work on and we release. As well as one for each of the guys, we also have one blank to hang on our wall. 

    We have just received our latest batch, and the wall is looking mighty fine! I am very proud, and wanted to share with you guys.
